Each of coin maintains a similar design on both of obverse and reverse. The obverse features the staid portrait of Queen Elizabeth in the center. The reverse shows the Canadian Maple Leaf in gorgeous detail, every vein traced and standing out. The inscriptions include CANADA, FINE GOLD 1OZ OR PUR with 9999 on either side of the leaf.
